According to Ayurved principles, human bodies are governed by three doshas (pronounced va-ta, pitta and kapha). Each of these three doeshas is made up of different combinations of five elements (ether, air, fire, water and earth) that influence physiological and psychological functions within us all. Vata's primary composition consists of air elements; therefore its influence includes movement, creativity and communication functions as well as maintaining equilibrium throughout our bodies if unbalance occurs resulting in dryness constipation anxiety or nervous disorders in terms of health concerns.
